Right now, we are in the eye of a typhoon. It sounds pretty impressive but it's really not. The wind and rain are fun to hear and watch, but it's nothing like a Midwestern thunderstorm. That's much more impressive. I'm really thankful for the typhoon because it has cooled down this part of Japan. The heat and humidity are not nearly as oppressive. Lord, thank you for your small mercies!
