It was my turn to teach the Children's English Program at school. This is a program for sixth grade girls and is one of the promotional tools Baiko uses to recruit students. Today we learned about Thanksgiving and then made Turkeys with our hands and feet. It went well but doing a craft with Japanese girls was a very different experience than with American girls. They were all silently and meticulously tracing their hands and then carefully cutting them out. Their concentration on the project was quite amazing. They all wanted to do it just right. Here are a few pictures from the turkey-making event.
