This week Japan's prime minister changed. Koizumi stepped down and Shinzo Abe has become Japan's new prime minister. Abe is from Shimonoseki. I even know the area where his house is. Apparently, Yamaguchi prefecture (the area that I am in) has produced many Japanese leaders and politicians. (Picture is from the BBC News)
