Last week, I went to an Ikebana (flower arranging) show. One of my students gave me a ticket. Her and her mom enjoy doing flower arrangements and wanted to share a bit of it with us. How they get everything to stay just so, I have no idea. They are often unbalanced and have a look of simplicity. Even in flower arranging one could see the old meet the modern.

Great pictures! I have heard of ikebana before, but I didn't expect it to look like that!

I'm thinking about doing the teaching thing in Japan. I was wondering if you could tell me a little about it sometime. My school email is the same.
